Tonight, fans can watch a live-stream “red carpet” event from New York City before watching Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>. Plus: Facebook Live<\/em> “after Discovery <\/em>show” starts a day after each show beginning next Friday.<\/p>\n

Before watching the first episode of the new season of Star Trek: Discovery,<\/em> fans are being invited to the CBS All Access Facebook page<\/em> (facebook.com\/cbsallaccess<\/em>) to “celebrate the long-awaited Season 2 premiere, which happens tonight at 8:30 PM ET\/5:30 PM PT, exclusively on CBS All Access<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Starting at approximately 7 PM ET\/4 PM PT, fans all over the world will be able to stream the red-carpet arrivals live on the official Star Trek: Discovery Facebook<\/em> page.<\/p>\n

“The event will be hosted by Kinda Funny<\/em> frontman Greg Miller<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Stars slated to appear include Sonequa Martin-Green<\/strong> (Commander Michael Burnham), Doug Jones<\/strong> (Commander Saru), Shazad Latif<\/strong> (Ash Tyler), Anson Mount<\/strong> (Captain Christopher Pike), Anthony Rapp<\/strong> (Lt. Commander Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman<\/strong> (Ensign Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz<\/strong> (Dr. Hugh Culber), Mary Chieffo<\/strong> (L’Rell), Ethan Peck<\/strong> (Spock), Tig Notaro<\/strong> (Chief Engineer Reno), Rebecca Romijn<\/strong> (Number One), Sam Vartholomeos<\/strong> (Danby Conner), Emily Coutts<\/strong> (Keyla Detmer), Hannah Cheesman<\/strong> (Airiam 2.5), and Ronnie Rowe Jr.<\/strong> (Bryce).”<\/p>\n

“The event will also feature appearances from creative minds like Alex Kurtzman<\/strong> (Showrunner\/Executive Producer), Heather Kadin<\/strong> (Executive Producer), Frank Siracusa<\/strong> (Executive Producer), Olatunde Osunsanmi<\/strong> (Executive Producer), Gersha Phillips<\/strong> (Costume Designer), and Jeff Russo<\/strong> (Composer).”<\/p>\n

CBS<\/em> also announced that instead of After Trek<\/em>, a new show will stream live on Facebook<\/em> (facebook.com\/cbsallaccess<\/em>) after each episode of Discovery<\/em>. This program will feature stars, producers and other creative talent and will debut next Friday.<\/p>\n
