{"id":50037,"date":"2019-02-07T15:06:18","date_gmt":"2019-02-07T23:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=50037"},"modified":"2019-02-07T15:11:00","modified_gmt":"2019-02-07T23:11:00","slug":"writing-for-yeohs-section-31-series-has-begun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2019\/02\/writing-for-yeohs-section-31-series-has-begun\/","title":{"rendered":"Writing For Yeoh&#8217;s Section 31 Series Has Begun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For those waiting for the <strong>Michelle Yeoh<\/strong> Section 31 series to be officially greenlit, that hasn&#8217;t happened yet, but writing has begun on the new series.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>TrekMovie<\/em>, <strong>Alex Kurtzman<\/strong> &#8220;revealed that the Section 31 series showrunners (and<em> Discovery<\/em> writers and co-executive producers <strong>Bo Yeon Kim <\/strong>and<strong> Erika Lippoldt<\/strong>) are already working on the new show.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>ComicBook.com<\/em> posted the following statement from Kurtzman during the recent <em>TCA Winter 2019 Press Tour<\/em>. &#8220;Well, Erika [Lippoldt] and Bo [Yeon Kim] are writing it now, so we&#8217;re breaking story now. And they&#8217;re amazing, and they&#8217;re a big part of <em>Discovery<\/em>, so they&#8217;re on our staff too. So they&#8217;re doing double duty this year, and our hope is that we will have a script in the next couple months, and then as soon as <em>Discovery<\/em> Season Three is over we&#8217;re rolling right into that show.
