Kirk, turned down appearing <em>in Star Trek 4<\/em> due to money issues, but that was not why he declined to participate.<\/p>\n<p>While doing press for <em>Men in Black: International<\/em>, which opens June 14, the actor was asked about <em>Star Trek 4<\/em>, which appears to be shelved permanently after both Hemsworth and<strong> Chris Pine<\/strong> backed out of the film.<\/p>\n<p>Fans believed that both Pine and Hemsworth declined to participate in <em>Star Trek 4<\/em> due to salary issues.
