The actor was in attendance for the ceremony which took place in Sacramento.<\/p>\n<p>Burton grew up in Sacramento, attending two schools in the Meadowview area of the city; <em>St. Anne&#8217;s<\/em> and <em>Charles Borromeo<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Before the ceremony, Burton visited a Sacramento school, <em>John Still Middle School<\/em>, to encourage the students. &#8220;My message to the kids was &#8216;If I can do it, so can you&#8217; said Burton.<\/p>\n<p>It was a hot day in Sacramento, reaching ninety degrees before noon. &#8220;This is very Sacramento,&#8221; said Burton, referring to the heat.<\/p>\n<p>Those attending the renaming ceremony enjoyed music, food trucks and other activities.
