Bell lives near Nichols and takes care of her.<\/p>\n<p>Nichols, who suffers from dementia, apparently is now afraid of her son. A few weeks ago, when her son entered the courtroom, she screamed when he appeared and demanded that he &#8220;get [his] hands off of me. You&#8217;re trying to get rid of me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t give permission to have conservatorship over me.
