{"id":50981,"date":"2019-06-20T13:31:51","date_gmt":"2019-06-20T20:31:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=50981"},"modified":"2019-06-20T13:31:51","modified_gmt":"2019-06-20T20:31:51","slug":"takei-in-the-terror-infamy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2019\/06\/takei-in-the-terror-infamy\/","title":{"rendered":"Takei In The Terror: Infamy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>George Takei<\/strong> has turned from sci-fi to horror in the second season of <em>AMC<\/em>&#8216;s <em>The Terror.\u00a0<\/em> For the second season, the show is called <em>The Terror: Infamy<\/em> and it is set in a Japanese internment camp.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Set during <em>World War II<\/em>, the haunting and suspenseful second season of the horror-infused anthology, <em>The Terror: Infamy<\/em>, centers on a series of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese-American community, and a young man&#8217;s journey to understand and combat the malevolent entity responsible.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Takei takes on the role of Yamato-san, a &#8220;community elder and former fishing captain.&#8221; Others in the series include <strong>Derek Mio, Kiki Sukezane, Christina Rodlo, Shingo Usami, Naoko Mori<\/strong>, and<strong> Miki Ishikawa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Look for <em>The Terror: Infamy<\/em> beginning August 12.
