{"id":51065,"date":"2019-07-09T22:07:25","date_gmt":"2019-07-10T05:07:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=51065"},"modified":"2019-07-09T22:07:25","modified_gmt":"2019-07-10T05:07:25","slug":"mack-to-be-consultant-for-trek-animated-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2019\/07\/mack-to-be-consultant-for-trek-animated-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Mack To Be Consultant For Trek Animated Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Star Trek<\/em> novelist <strong>David Mack<\/strong> has been tapped to be a consultant on two <em>Star Trek<\/em> animated series.<\/p>\n<p>He will be working on the already-announced <em>Star Trek: Lower Decks<\/em>, as well as a future animated series whose details are being kept under wraps.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am excited to be working as a consultant on two new <em>Star Trek<\/em> animated television series,&#8221; said Mack; &#8220;<em>Star Trek: Lower Decks,<\/em> and another series whose details remain classified.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And that&#8217;s essentially all I can say about that. #DreamJob&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mack has had experience with televised <em>Star Trek<\/em> as well as having written around three dozen Star Trek books. He co-wrote two episodes of <em>Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/em>; the first being <em>Starship Down<\/em> (with<strong> John J. Ordover<\/strong>) and <em>It&#8217;s Only a Paper Moon<\/em> (with Ordover and <strong>Ronald D.
