Today at San Diego Comic-Con<\/em>, descriptions of the new characters in Star Trek: Picard<\/em> were released along with five new photos from the show.<\/p>\n

TrekCore<\/em> and CBS All Acces<\/em>s provided the show and character information that follows. There WILL be spoilers.<\/p>\n

Jean-Luc Picard is retired, but not happy about it. “Retirement is not what he was looking for, not what he wanted,” said Sir Patrick Stewart.<\/strong> “It was an impulsive act that put him in this situation and he has regretted it and lived with a certain amount of guilt about it for many years…and that’s where we pick up the show.”<\/p>\n

The first picture features Jeri Ryan<\/strong> as Seven of Nine.<\/p>\n

The second picture features Evan Evagora<\/strong> (Elnor), Alison Pill<\/strong> (Dr. Jurati), and Stewart.<\/p>\n

Stewart, Evagora, Santiago Cabrera<\/strong> (Rios), and Michelle Hurd<\/strong> (Raffi) can be seen in the third picture.<\/p>\n

In the fourth picture, Stewart faces Starfleet brass.<\/p>\n

In the fifth picture, Stewart and Isa Briones<\/strong> (Dahj) are face-to-face.<\/p>\n

Isa Briones<\/strong> plays Dahj, who “seeks out the retired Picard for answers after facing a ‘big event’ in her life.”<\/p>\n

Eva Evagora<\/strong> is Elnor, “a young Romulan of seventeen who is an ‘expert and hand to hand combat” and is “‘fiercely loyal to Jean-Luc Picard.”<\/p>\n

Alison Pill<\/strong> is Dr. Agnes Jurati, “a researcher, and someone ‘who’s confused with her place in the world.'”<\/p>\n

Santiago Cabrero<\/strong> is Cristobal “Chris” Rios, “a former Starfleet officer and pilot who at first is reluctant to help Picard.” He has “demons of his own.”<\/p>\n

Michelle Hurd<\/strong> is Raffi Musiker “a character who knows Picard from some time in their shared past.” She is a “genius strategist” who is “haunted by a demon.”<\/p>\n

Harry Treadaway<\/strong> is Narek, a Romulan who is “involved in some secret operation.”<\/p>\n

CBS All Access<\/em> on Instagram<\/em> has released a short video where the new additions introduce themselves and give a brief description of their characters. You can watch it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
