My local <em>PBS<\/em> is airing two episodes tonight;<em> Inner Worlds<\/em>, and <em>Mars<\/em>, so be aware that there may be two episodes tonight and not just one.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The series will give viewers a glimpse of the eight planets of our solar system, as well as some other worlds you might recognize \u2014 famous moons like Europa or Titan and dwarf [former] planets like Pluto. The series pulls together footage from orbiters, landers and rovers spread across the solar system, combined with planetary science research and computer-generated imagery.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is a drama played out on a cosmic scale,&#8221; said <strong>Chris Schmidt,<\/strong> executive producer for <em>NOVA<\/em>. &#8220;In five gripping stories, we journey through each planet&#8217;s past and present, weaving through plot twists as they make their way through time and space.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/C9I4ZOk6LqI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zachary Quinto will narrate a new PBS-BBC Studios Nova series called The Planets.
