In a move that will bring all of Star Trek<\/em> under one umbrella, CBS<\/em> and Viacom<\/em> have agreed to merge into one company, ViacomCBS Inc<\/em>. The merger was announced after two days of intense negotiations.<\/p>\n

Viacom CEO<\/em> Bob Bakish<\/strong> will lead the merged company, as announced by TrekToday<\/em> earlier this week. Joe Ianniello<\/strong> will become chairman and CEO of CBS<\/em> and Shari Redstone<\/strong> will become chairman of ViacomCBS<\/em>.<\/p>\n
