Over the weekend at New York Comic Con<\/em>, Star Trek: Discovery<\/em> fans were treated to a brand-new Season 3 trailer and fans who didn’t make it to the convention can now see this trailer.<\/p>\n

The Discovery<\/em> crew is now nine-hundred-and-thirty years in the future, and live in a new time with unknown dangers, yet with new discoveries ahead of them. So what can fans expect in the third season of Discovery<\/em>?<\/p>\n

TrekMovie<\/em> had representatives at the convention and reported that Alex Kurtzman<\/strong> told the fans in attendance that one thing they will see will be future versions of Star Trek<\/em> aliens that they already know. One of these alien homeworlds, that of the Trill, will be visited by Discovery<\/em> in Season Three.<\/p>\n

Trills and various other aliens, including Andorians, Cardassians, and Lurians (like Morn) can be seen in the trailer.<\/p>\n

Season Three will be “a mix of things,” said Michelle Paradise<\/strong>. “We’re going nine-hundred-and-thirty years into the future, so we’re taking expectations and alliances and enemies and all of those things and putting them in a blender and mixing it all up and seeing what’s going to happen. It’s going to be very interesting, I think.”<\/p>\n

And what about the Federation in the future? The Federation is still there, but “challenged.”<\/p>\n
