{"id":51978,"date":"2020-01-13T02:08:44","date_gmt":"2020-01-13T10:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=51978"},"modified":"2020-01-13T02:11:29","modified_gmt":"2020-01-13T10:11:29","slug":"two-more-live-action-trek-series-in-the-pipeline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2020\/01\/two-more-live-action-trek-series-in-the-pipeline\/","title":{"rendered":"Two More Live-Action Trek Series In The Pipeline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It looks like fans will be seeing new <em>Star Trek<\/em> for some time to come.<\/p>\n<p>During a <em>Star Trek: Picard<\/em> press tour in Pasadena, California this weekend, as reported by <em>TrekCore<\/em>, <strong>Alex Kurtzman<\/strong> revealed that two new series are in development and <strong>Heather Kadin<\/strong> gave a short update on<em> Section 31<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are two more live action shows that haven&#8217;t been announced yet,&#8221; said Kurtzman, who unfortunately declined to give any further details.<\/p>\n<p>The two new shows would be in addition to <em>Star Trek: Discover, Star Trek: Picard,<\/em> and <em>Section 31<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Might one suggest a Pike series?<\/p>\n<p>Kadin, meanwhile, updated fans on the progress of the <em>Section 31<\/em> series, starring <strong>Michelle Yeoh<\/strong>. &#8220;[<em>Section 31<\/em> is] in active development,&#8221; she said. It&#8217;s &#8220;obviously a huge priority.
