{"id":53131,"date":"2020-08-18T12:14:16","date_gmt":"2020-08-18T19:14:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=53131"},"modified":"2020-08-18T12:14:16","modified_gmt":"2020-08-18T19:14:16","slug":"cross-passes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2020\/08\/cross-passes\/","title":{"rendered":"Cross Passes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ben Cross<\/strong>, best-known to <em>Star Trek<\/em> fans as Sarek in<em> Star Trek (2009)<\/em> is dead at the age of seventy-two.<\/p>\n<p>Born <strong>Harry Bernard Cross<\/strong> in 1947, Cross began acting at a young age while still at school, and at twenty-two was accepted into the <em>Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts<\/em> in London.<\/p>\n<p>In 1976, he made his big screen debut in 1976&#8217;s <em>A Bridge Too Far<\/em>, followed in 1981 by<em> Chariots of Fire<\/em>, in which he played one of two British track athletes who competed in the 1924 Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>Cross appeared in TV shows and movies including <em>The Citadel, The Far Pavilions, Dark Shadows, First Knight, Trial &amp; Retribution, Ben Hur, Ice, Steal the Sky<\/em>, and more.
