Virtual Trek Con 2<\/em> begins this Thursday, October 15, and runs through Monday, Oct 19.<\/p>\n

The convention includes cast and crew interviews, fan interactions, special performances, and surprise announcements.<\/p>\n

Thursday’s events include the opening ceremonies, where fans meet Cirroc Lofton, Ryan T. Husk<\/strong> and the team behind Virtual Trek Con 2<\/em>, and where Lofton and Husk explain how this convention will work.<\/p>\n

Mike McMahan<\/strong> will appear in a panel moderated by Husk and Lofton. Other panels will include The Roddenberrys Present<\/em>, and The 7th Rule presents: DS9’s Improbable Cause<\/em>. There also will be gaming.<\/p>\n

Friday highlights include the Diversity in Star Trek panel<\/em>, including Michelle Hurd, Conrad Coates<\/strong>, Lofton, and Raven Dauda<\/strong>; Alien Actors and Makeup<\/em> with Tracee Cocco <\/strong>and Rico E. Anderson,<\/strong> Female Friendships of the Final Frontier, Trivia Night<\/em>, Richard Arnold<\/strong>, and Space Command.<\/em><\/p>\n

On Saturday, some of the highlights includes Making a Cardassian<\/em> (Thomas E. Surprenant<\/strong>, Tracee Cocco), Jake Sisko on Writing Featuring Armin Shimerman<\/em> (Armin Shimerman,<\/strong> Lofton, Husk), Rod Roddenberry<\/strong>, a Discovery<\/em> panel (Doug Jones, David Benjamin Tomlinson<\/strong>), and a Klingon High Council Townhall Meeting<\/em> (J.G. Hertzler, Robert O’Reilly<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

On Sunday, there is Character Development in DS9<\/em> (Ira Steven Behr, Robert Hewitt Wolfe<\/strong>), Gaaays in Spaaace presents Trekkie Feud<\/em> (Hertzler, Robert Picardo<\/strong>), Live Concert by Tim Russ Crew<\/em> (Tim Russ<\/strong>), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/em> (Shimerman, Alexander Siddig, Hana Hatae<\/strong>, Lofton, Malissa Longo<\/strong>, Wolfe).<\/p>\n

On Monday, join Larry Nemecek <\/strong>and Dr. Ali Mattu<\/strong> in Life support Presents: Star Trek and Mental Health: Hits and Misses<\/em>, The Improvised Generation<\/em>, and Falling Tower presents WTF Star Trek: Short Treks.<\/em><\/p>\n
