\"\"<\/a>Several model ships from Polar Lights<\/em> will be of interest to original series fans and Voyager<\/em> fans. The ships include the 1:1000-scale USS Voyager,<\/em> and the 1:1000-scale USS Excelsior.<\/em><\/p>\n

There are two versions of the USS Voyager,<\/em> one clear (to accommodate lights, which are not included) and one opaque. The ship is 13.4″ long, and includes landing gear, clear sensor dish, clear nacelle parts and windows. The clear version of the ship will be molded in clear plastic.<\/p>\n

Either version can be pre-ordered for $44.99, and they will both be released in May.

The USS Excelsior<\/em> is due out mid-year, according to TrekCore<\/em>. This is a reissue of a kit with “restored parts.” It will include parts for either the NX-2000<\/em> (Star Trek III<\/em>-era) or for the NCC-2000<\/em> (Star Trek VI<\/em>-era) version ship.<\/p>\n
