A brand-new Star Trek XI<\/i> trailer has been released today in the theater coupled with the movie Watchmen<\/i>, and has also appeared online at the official Star Trek<\/i> movie site.<\/p>\n
As seen at Startrekmovie.com<\/a>, the two-minute trailer is chock-full of action and includes previously seen footage plus plenty of new scenes, including information on James T. Kirk’s father.<\/param><\/param><\/param><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\nHighlights of the trailer include: the revelation that James T. Kirk’s father was a starship captain for only twelve minutes, but in that short time, he saved eight hundred lives, including that of his son; the implosion of a planet courtesy of Nero’s weapon; the beginning of an attack on Vulcan; ominous words from Nero, who says that “James T. Kirk was a great man.
