This year, the San Diego Comic-Con<\/em> will again be virtual and Paramount +<\/em> will be there with two Trek panels on July 23.<\/p>\n

“Beginning at 10 AM PDT, [there will be] back-to-back panel sessions featuring cast and producers from the service’s two animated Star Trek<\/em> series, the upcoming Star Trek: Prodigy<\/em> \u2014 the first Star Trek<\/em> animated kids series \u2014 and season two of the adult animated comedy Star Trek: Lower Decks. The Star Trek Universe<\/em> panels kick off Paramount+<\/em>‘s Comic-Con@Home ‘Peak Animation’<\/em> programming block showcasing the service’s upcoming animated series, with additional panels to be announced.”<\/p>\n

The first panel will be the Prodigy<\/em> panel. Here is the description of that panel: “Paramount+, CBS Studios<\/em> and Nickelodeon<\/em> present the inaugural cast panel for the highly anticipated upcoming Star Trek<\/em> animated kids’ series, Star Trek: Prodigy<\/em>, with voice cast Kate Mulgrew, Brett Gray, Ella Purnell, Angus Imrie, Rylee Alazraqui, Dee Bradley Baker<\/strong> and Jason Mantzoukas<\/strong> alongside executive producers Kevin Hageman<\/strong> and Dan Hageman<\/strong> and director\/co-executive producer Ben Hibon<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Next up will be the Lower Decks<\/em> panel. “Following Star Trek: Prodigy<\/em>, join Star Trek: Lower Decks<\/em> voice cast members Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid<\/strong> and Eugene Cordero<\/strong> alongside creator Mike McMahan<\/strong> for an exclusive conversation and an extended look at the second season. Season Two is bigger, funnier and Star Trekkier<\/em> than ever before. Fans can expect strange, new (and familiar) aliens to challenge the crews of the U.S.S. Cerritos<\/em> and the U.S.S. Titan<\/em>. For Mariner, Tendi, Rutherford and Boimler, the animated adventure is just beginning.”<\/p>\n
