Justin Gruba<\/b> and Alissa Mellis<\/b> of Troy, Michigan were the lucky winners of the Detroit Science Center’s “Star Trek: The Exhibition Ultimate Wedding Package Contest” after winning 35% of the online voting for the contest.<\/p>\n
As reported by Freep.com<\/a>, the couple won a June wedding on the exhibit’s recreated USS Enterprise Bridge, which includes a reception for two hundred guests at the museum. Gruba and Mellis also won a honeymoon at the Star Trek<\/i> honeymoon suite at the MGM Grand Detroit.Gruba and Mellis were engaged at the exhibit on Valentine’s Day. In winning the wedding, they beat out eight other couples. <\/p>\n In their application for the contest, the couple wrote: “Marriage is a journey and an adventure.
