{"id":54861,"date":"2021-08-02T12:20:34","date_gmt":"2021-08-02T19:20:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=54861"},"modified":"2021-08-02T12:20:34","modified_gmt":"2021-08-02T19:20:34","slug":"remastered-star-trek-ii-score-coming-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2021\/08\/remastered-star-trek-ii-score-coming-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"Remastered Star Trek II Score Coming Soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La La Land, the boutique record label which has had a long history of releasing excellently mastered Star Trek scores of both film and television, announced on its Facebook page yesterday that a fully remastered, 2-CD set of the score to\u00a0<em>Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan<\/em> will be released on August 17, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Composed by the late James Horner, who was a relatively unknown composer at the time, the\u00a0<em>Star Trek II<\/em> score introduced several leitmotifs which would go on to aid in establishing the nautical, &#8220;Horatio Hornblower in space&#8221;
