{"id":5504,"date":"2009-03-30T21:13:14","date_gmt":"2009-03-30T20:13:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.slipserver.com\/wordpress\/2009\/03\/lindelof-no-next-generation-cameos\/"},"modified":"2009-08-22T08:13:48","modified_gmt":"2009-08-22T15:13:48","slug":"lindelof-no-next-generation-cameos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2009\/03\/lindelof-no-next-generation-cameos\/","title":{"rendered":"Lindelof: No Next Generation Cameos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Producer <b>Damon Lindelof<\/b> sets the record straight on rumors that cast members from <i>Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/i> might have made cameo appearances on <i>Star Trek XI<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"http:\/\/moviesblog.mtv.com\/\">MTV Movies Blog<\/a>, although <i>The Next Generation<\/i> characters make appearances in the prequel comics, don&#8217;t look for them on the big screen this May. &#8220;Data is featured in one of the prequel comics,&#8221; said Lindelof. &#8220;But we do not want to mislead the public into thinking they&#8217;ll see Next Gen cameos.&#8221; <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->Rumors of the cameos began at WonderCon, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latinoreview.com\/news\/breaking-news-is-the-next-generation-in-the-new-star-trek-movie-6295\">LatinoReview.com<\/a>, where is was said that a writer (or artist) claimed that part of the movie would take place with the <i>Next Generation<\/i> crew and to look out for that.
