Designer-illustrator John Eaves<\/b> has begun a new blog, where he shares his artwork and experiences working over the years on Star Trek<\/i> as well as on other projects.<\/p>\n

As seen at Eavesdropping with Johnny<\/a>, fans of Eaves can see samples of various ships, and look forward to a “Starship of the day,” where a different starship, such as a recent entry featuring a small Cardassian fighter, is offered daily.The forty-six-year old Eaves has a long Star Trek<\/i> resume, dating back to Star Trek V: The Final Frontier<\/i> and continuing through present-day Star Trek<\/i> as a conceptual illustrator for Star Trek XI<\/i>. Eaves was a production illustrator for both Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/i> and Star Trek: Enterprise<\/i>, and he is currently working on Star Trek: Online<\/i> as a design consultant.<\/p>\n

In addition to Star Trek<\/i>, Eaves has worked as a concept illustrator on Tropic Thunder<\/i>, Valkyrie<\/i>, Race to Witch Mountain<\/i> as well as the forthcoming Virtuality<\/i> and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra<\/i>.<\/p>\n
