Scott Bakula<\/b> fans tuned in to NBC last Monday to see the first of several episodes of Chuck<\/i> in which Bakula appears as the estranged father of the title character played by Zachary Levi<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Chuck’s father Steve Bartowski had not been seen since he left Chuck and his older sister Ellie ten years earlier. Found by CIA officer Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski<\/b>,) Steve is living in a trailer out in the boondocks, a disheveled and paranoid man. Steve (Bakula) reluctantly returns home to see his daughter Ellie, whose wedding approaches. By the end of the episode, after helping his son, a nerdy spy, Steve is kidnapped and will need to be rescued by his son and CIA officer Sarah Walker.<\/p>\n
