Although the regular Comics International magazine is still on hiatus, fans will be pleased with the current release of a special issue devoted to Star Trek<\/i>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As reported by Sci Fi Pulse<\/a>, the Star Trek Special<\/i> celebrates four decades of Star Trek<\/i> in comics, from the first issue published in 1967 by Gold Key, to the more recent IDW releases.<\/p>\n

The issue features an introduction by Walter Koenig<\/b> (Chekov,) and includes interviews with both British and Americans such as Dan Abnett, Mike Collins, Ian Edginton, Mike W. Barr<\/b>, Diane Duane, Gordon Purcell, David Messina<\/b> and Scott Tipton<\/b>. Star Trek Voyager<\/i>‘s EMH, Robert Picardo<\/b> was also interviewed for the issue.<\/p>\n

The issue, heavily illustrated and including formerly unpublished artwork, is on sale in shops now.<\/p>\n
