{"id":5748,"date":"2009-07-14T23:33:48","date_gmt":"2009-07-14T22:33:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.slipserver.com\/wordpress\/2009\/07\/monday-was-not-a-good-day-to-drive\/"},"modified":"2009-08-22T08:11:36","modified_gmt":"2009-08-22T15:11:36","slug":"monday-was-not-a-good-day-to-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2009\/07\/monday-was-not-a-good-day-to-drive\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday Was Not A Good Day To Drive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The week started off badly for <b>LeVar Burton<\/b> when he was involved in a five-car accident.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/images\/news\/071409Car.gif\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" width=\"250\" height=\"184\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/\">Google<\/a>, Burton was driving his 2006 Mercedes on Beverly Boulevard in West Los Angeles on Monday evening when a woman in a 2006 Scion turned in front of him, causing an accident.<!--more-->The initial collision caused Burton&#8217;s Mercedes to hit a parked car, which lead to a chain reaction involving two other parked cars.<\/p>\n<p>Both drivers were examined and then released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after complaining of pain after the accident. Neither Burton nor the other driver were ticketed for the accident.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Woke up feeling like I was hit by a car,&#8221; tweeted Burton today. &#8220;Oh wait, I was.
