{"id":7322,"date":"2009-09-11T15:51:06","date_gmt":"2009-09-11T22:51:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=7322"},"modified":"2009-09-11T15:51:18","modified_gmt":"2009-09-11T22:51:18","slug":"dragoncon-youtube-videos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2009\/09\/dragoncon-youtube-videos\/","title":{"rendered":"DragonCon YouTube Videos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2009 DragonCon has ended, but videos, including ones featuring <strong>Leonard Nimoy, Patrick Stewart, William Shatner<\/strong> and other Star Trek actors and actresses, are appearing online.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patrick Stewart<\/strong> talked about his time on <em>Star Trek: The Next Generatio<\/em>n. He answered questions from the audience, including one on what was his favorite thing about doing <em>The Next Generation<\/em>. &#8220;I like all the things that involved physical activity,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I love all riding sequences&#8230;anything that got me out of that chair.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Stewart wasn&#8217;t as keen on his time as a Borg. &#8220;I have to tell you, that being in the Borg stuff was just awful,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Especially the semi-nude scenes.&#8221; Being made up for it &#8220;took a long time&#8221; and &#8220;it was uncomfortable.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leonard Nimoy<\/strong> spoke how and why he went into photography. &#8220;When I finished working on the three seasons of <em>Star Trek<\/em> and two seasons of <em>Mission Impossible,<\/em> I thought, &#8216;maybe I&#8217;ve done enough of that for a while,&#8217; and photography had been love of mine ever since I was eight or ten years old. And I decided I wanted to explore that as a possible change of careers. So I went to UCLA and studied under some very wonderful teachers, about photography as a fine art form. And then I realized, you can&#8217;t make a living at photography as a fine art form!
