{"id":7333,"date":"2009-09-14T12:12:16","date_gmt":"2009-09-14T19:12:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=7333"},"modified":"2009-09-14T12:12:16","modified_gmt":"2009-09-14T19:12:16","slug":"lucky-trek-couple-marries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2009\/09\/lucky-trek-couple-marries\/","title":{"rendered":"Lucky Trek Couple Marries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A couple who won a <em>Star Trek <\/em>wedding at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia were married last night on the bridge of the USS Enterprise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brad Siegel<\/strong> and <strong>Kate Erwin<\/strong>, who met at a <em>Star Trek<\/em> convention in 2006, were married by a &#8220;Vulcan-speaking&#8221; Buddhist priest and surrounded by green faeries and dark angels.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->&#8220;We were so lucky to win this,&#8221; said Erwin.
