{"id":7600,"date":"2009-10-26T12:47:38","date_gmt":"2009-10-26T19:47:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=7600"},"modified":"2009-10-26T12:47:38","modified_gmt":"2009-10-26T19:47:38","slug":"saldana-trek-in-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2009\/10\/saldana-trek-in-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Saldana: Trek In 2011?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Zoe Saldana<\/strong> (Uhura) is ready to &#8220;take her shirt off&#8221; and begin her work in the <em>Star Trek XI<\/em> sequel.<\/p>\n<p>Saldana has already received a call regarding her work schedule for 2010. &#8220;We&#8217;re working on it,&#8221; she said of <em>Star Trek XII<\/em>. &#8220;They were calling to see where we were going to be and how my schedule is next year.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The call made Saldana happy. &#8220;Just that was worth me doing a cartwheel when I got the phone call,&#8221; she said, &#8220;because I cannot wait to put on the suit and go back to the Enterprise, take my shirt off and be with all those yummy guys.<\/p>\n<p>There is still uncertainty as to the release date for the sequel. In a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/2009\/10\/orci-and-kurtzman-give-star-trek-xii-status-update\/\">TrekToday article<\/a>, <strong>Alex Kurtzman<\/strong> and <strong>Roberto Orci<\/strong> were asked about a possible release date for <em>Star Trek XII<\/em>.
