{"id":7614,"date":"2009-10-27T11:27:07","date_gmt":"2009-10-27T18:27:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=7614"},"modified":"2009-10-27T11:27:07","modified_gmt":"2009-10-27T18:27:07","slug":"star-trek-xi-collects-another-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2009\/10\/star-trek-xi-collects-another-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek XI Collects Another Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Star Trek XI<\/em> was a winner at Monday night&#8217;s Hollywood Film Festival&#8217;s Hollywood Awards.<\/p>\n<p>Started thirteen years ago, the Hollywood Awards are chosen based on &#8220;private, press, preview and festival screenings, as well as recommendations from a cross section of Hollywood professionals, including actors, agents, executives, directors, film critics, entertainment journalists, managers, producers, publicists, screenwriters and members of the guilds and societies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Although it&#8217;s not one of the more prestigious award ceremonies, plenty of stars were in appearance, including <strong>Steven Spielberg, Morgan Freeman, Ewan McGregor,\u00a0 Pierce Brosnan, Charlize Theron, Sandra Bullock, Diablo Cody, Kate Beckinsale, Kathleen Kennedy, Marisa Tomei, Michael Bay, Maria Bello, Edward Asner<\/strong> and <strong>Taraji P. Henson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Star Trek XI<\/em> was the winner of the Hollywood Movie of the Year. <strong>Zachary Quinto<\/strong> (Spock) accepted the award. &#8220;Gee, I&#8217;m shocked the online community chose to honor <em>Star Trek<\/em>,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Star Trek XI was a winner at Monday night&#8217;s Hollywood Film Festival&#8217;s Hollywood Awards.
