{"id":7670,"date":"2009-10-31T14:22:05","date_gmt":"2009-10-31T21:22:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=7670"},"modified":"2009-10-31T14:22:05","modified_gmt":"2009-10-31T21:22:05","slug":"shatner-wax-figure-and-new-priceline-commercial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2009\/10\/shatner-wax-figure-and-new-priceline-commercial\/","title":{"rendered":"Shatner: Wax Figure And New Priceline Commercial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>William Shatner<\/strong> will be immortalized in wax by the world-famous Madame Tussauds.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, November 4 at 11:30 A.M., Shatner will appear in person at Madame Tussauds on Hollywood Boulevard to unveil his wax likeness.<\/p>\n<p>The Hollywood Madame Tussauds features Hollywood icons such as <strong>Clark Gable <\/strong>and <strong>Marlene Dietrich<\/strong>; movie characters such as Wolverine (<strong>Hugh Jackman<\/strong>) and The Bride (<strong>Uma Thurman<\/strong>); movie stars such as <strong>Johnny Depp<\/strong>, <strong>Nicole Kidman<\/strong> and <strong>Robin Williams<\/strong>; and movie directors, pop stars and sports stars.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Not content with having his figure in wax, Shatner is also appearing in a new Priceline commercial as a bobblehead figure.<\/p>\n<p>In the new commercial, a traveler gets into a cab, and tells the cabbie that he &#8220;didn&#8217;t get a chance to book a hotel,&#8221; asking the cabbie for help.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Psst, hey,&#8221; says a voice, which turns out to be a bobbleheaded Shatner figure in a suit.
