Andrew Koenig<\/strong>, Walter’s 41-year-old son, failed to return home from Vancouver, British Columbia this weekend.<\/p>\n

Walter Koenig <\/strong>(Chekov) and family have put out an appeal for help on Koenig’s website in hopes of finding their son, who was expected back in the U.S. on February 16th, but never boarded his flight home.<\/p>\n

\"AndrewKoenig022210\"Best-known to fans as Boner from Growing Pains<\/em>, Koenig is an actor, producer, director, writer, editor and photographer, as well as an activist.<\/p>\n

Koenig was last seen on February 14 in Vancouver, at a bakery in the Stanley Park area of Vancouver, an area he often chose for taking walks. His phone received a text message on the 16th, but has been turned off since then.<\/p>\n

Visiting friends in Toronto and Vancouver, Koenig had been expected home on the 16th. His father was concerned due to a letter received on that date from his son, which had a despondent tone. Andrew Koenig suffers from depression.<\/p>\n

According to his father, no specific incident caused the disappearance, nor was his son into drugs. “I think it’s something that has been a part of his makeup for a long time,” said Koenig. “There’s no single trauma. There’s no episode. There’s nothing of that nature.”<\/p>\n

The Koenigs plan to fly up to Vancouver to look for their son. If anyone has seen Andrew since Valentine’s Day, he or she should contact Detective Raymond Payette<\/strong> of the Vancouver PD at 604-717-2534.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
