{"id":8592,"date":"2010-03-09T13:47:00","date_gmt":"2010-03-09T21:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=8592"},"modified":"2010-03-09T13:47:00","modified_gmt":"2010-03-09T21:47:00","slug":"andrew-koenigs-life-celebrated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2010\/03\/andrew-koenigs-life-celebrated\/","title":{"rendered":"Andrew Koenig&#8217;s Life Celebrated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Family and friends gathered together Saturday to celebrate the life of <strong>Andrew Koenig<\/strong>, son of <strong>Walter<\/strong> (Chekov) and <strong>Judy Koenig<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately one hundred loved ones joined the Koenig family at the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon, California, for the private ceremony.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8593\" title=\"AndrewKoenig022210\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/AndrewKoenig022210.gif\" alt=\"AndrewKoenig022210\" width=\"166\" height=\"250\" \/>Walter Koenig&#8217;s representative <strong>David Moss <\/strong>described the ceremony. &#8220;It was a celebration of life,&#8221; he said. &#8220;All of the family was there and a lot of his actor friends and filmmakers flew down and joined in. It was not all happiness, I must say.
