{"id":8820,"date":"2010-04-09T17:21:52","date_gmt":"2010-04-10T00:21:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=8820"},"modified":"2010-04-09T17:21:52","modified_gmt":"2010-04-10T00:21:52","slug":"star-trek-the-experience-warehouse-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2010\/04\/star-trek-the-experience-warehouse-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek: The Experience Warehouse Sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fans wanting a piece of the former<em> Star Trek: The Experience<\/em> will be interested in a warehouse sale by Propworx Inc. scheduled for Saturday, April 10.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"http:\/\/trekmovie.com\/2010\/04\/05\/star-trek-the-experience-warehouse-sale-this-saturday-in-las-vegas\/\">TrekMovie.com<\/a>, the auction, to take place tomorrow from 10 A.M.-3 P.M. at 66 Spectrum Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada, will feature approximately one thousand items sure to delight Trek fans.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/BorgAlcove040910.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8821\" title=\"BorgAlcove040910\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/BorgAlcove040910.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"162\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a>Some of the items to be sold include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Borg Alcove ($800)<\/li>\n<li><em>Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/em> Bridge replica<\/li>\n<li>Costumes<\/li>\n<li>Knickknacks<\/li>\n<li>Furniture from Quark&#8217;s Bar<\/li>\n<li>Pieces from <em>The Next Generation<\/em> replica hallways and transporter room<\/li>\n<li>Rows of seats from the Klingon Encounter ride<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Items will be sold &#8220;as is,&#8221; such as three large models which need to be repaired or restored. These models are: the USS Enterprise A, The USS Voyager and a Klingon Bird of Prey.<\/p>\n<p><em>Star Trek: The Experience<\/em> ran for ten years, closing in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Anything like this, you&#8217;re sad to see it go, but on the other hand it&#8217;s an opportunity for fans to preserve the stuff,&#8221; said Propworx Inc.
