{"id":8828,"date":"2010-04-12T14:11:45","date_gmt":"2010-04-12T21:11:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=8828"},"modified":"2010-04-12T14:11:45","modified_gmt":"2010-04-12T21:11:45","slug":"shatner-to-auction-paintings-for-quake-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2010\/04\/shatner-to-auction-paintings-for-quake-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"Shatner To Auction Paintings For Quake Victims"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>William Shatne<\/strong>r will the guest of honor at a private charity party where paintings will be auctioned off to benefit victims of the Haiti and Chile earthquakes.<\/p>\n<p>Shatner will auction off artworks from his wife, <strong>Elizabeth Shatner<\/strong>, and from Italian-born artist <strong>Giorgio Tuscani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ShatnerStock.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8829\" title=\"ShatnerStock\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ShatnerStock.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"162\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a>The private, invitation-only charity party will be held on Saturday, April 17, in Studio City, taking place at Tuscani&#8217;s antique-filled Italianate mansion, House of Angels. House of Angels will also be sold for the benefit of the earthquake victims.<\/p>\n<p>Shatner will also be raising awareness of his annual Hollywood Charity Horse Show, due to take place May 1 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank.<\/p>\n<p>During this event, world-class horses and riders perform and compete and a special musical guest, <strong>Sheryl Crow<\/strong>, will perform.
