{"id":9190,"date":"2010-05-18T14:38:14","date_gmt":"2010-05-18T21:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=9190"},"modified":"2010-05-18T14:38:54","modified_gmt":"2010-05-18T21:38:54","slug":"montgomery-in-new-vh1-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2010\/05\/montgomery-in-new-vh1-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Montgomery In New VH1 Movie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Anthony Montgomery<\/strong>, best-known to <em>Star Trek: Enterpris<\/em>e fans for his role of Ensign Travis Mayweather in that series, will soon be seen in <em>Single Ladies<\/em>, a new Queen Latifah-produced made-for-television movie.<\/p>\n<p>Montgomery will be playing Darryl Jenkins, a successful businessman and a loving husband who adores his wife and fights to make their marriage work.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/AnthonyMontgomery051810.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-9191\" title=\"AnthonyMontgomery051810\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/AnthonyMontgomery051810.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>Single Ladies<\/em> will &#8220;focus on the different ideas the ladies have on sex and relationships. <strong>Stacy Dash<\/strong> will play a celebrity stylist; <strong>Lisa Raye McCoy<\/strong> will play a video vixen; <strong>Charity Shea<\/strong> will play a wife who is bored with her &#8220;perfect marriage&#8221;; and <strong>Lauren London<\/strong> will play an NBA player&#8217;s fianc\u00e9e.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>VH1&#8217;s first scripted programming, <em>Single Ladies<\/em> is a &#8220;cross between <em>Girlfriends <\/em>and <em>Sex and the City<\/em>.&#8221; If audiences like what they see, <em>Single Ladies<\/em> will become a television series.<\/p>\n<p>The air date has not yet been announced.
