{"id":9997,"date":"2010-08-20T13:02:42","date_gmt":"2010-08-20T20:02:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=9997"},"modified":"2010-08-20T13:02:42","modified_gmt":"2010-08-20T20:02:42","slug":"ryan-trek-technobabble-useful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2010\/08\/ryan-trek-technobabble-useful\/","title":{"rendered":"Ryan: Trek Technobabble Useful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Jeri Ryan<\/strong>, <em>Star Trek: Voyager<\/em>&#8216;s Seven of Nine, found that her work on <em>Voyager<\/em> has helped her in learning her lines for her newest role.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan, who plays Dr. Kate Murphy on ABC&#8217;s<em> Body of Proof<\/em>, now has to learn complicated medical jargon for her role as the boss of medical examiner Dr. Megan Hunt (<strong>Dana Delany<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/RyanBodyofEvidence1-051810.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-9998\" title=\"RyanBodyofEvidence1-051810\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/RyanBodyofEvidence1-051810.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"132\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>&#8220;I haven&#8217;t had so much of that [medical dialogue] but it&#8217;s not that difficult,&#8221; said Ryan. &#8220;I did four years on <em>Star Trek<\/em>.
