- Rick Berman: "We've already broken the story for part two, which is quite rare for us. We usually wait until after the Summer, come back and figure out how the hell we're going to end the cliffhanger. But immediately after the show wrapped Brannon [Braga] and I kind of locked ourselves into a room for a week and came up with ideas for basically the first three episodes of the coming season." (June 18, 2002 - TrekToday)
- Rumoured to feature Daniels and Archer looking through a library in the 31st century for mentions of the Federation - only to find out that the Federation doesn't exist in their timeline because Archer wasn't there. Meanwhile, on board Enterprise, the Suliban have taken over the ship, but Reed, Trip, and T'Pol formulate a plan to eject the aliens. (June 27, 2002 - TrekToday)
- Brannon Braga: "We're going to hint that someone out there doesn't want to see humans succeed in space, because it's going to eventually result in the formation of an interplanetary alliance. Take that as you will." (July 8, 2002 - TrekToday)
- Reportedly ends with Silik a prisoner aboard Enterprise. (August 13, 2002 - TrekToday)
