While North American fans have already seen twelve episodes of Enterprise's sophomore season, British viewers will get their first chance to catch up with the latest adventures of the NX-01 next week.
Satellite and cable channel Sky One will show the season two premiere 'Shockwave, Part II' at 21:00 GMT on Monday, January 6, following a repeat of 'Shockwave' at 20:00.
The start of the new season has been promoted in the latest issue of Sky's magazine, which features a large photo of Jolene Blalock (T'Pol) in civvies. A brief overview of the second season describes Enterprise as "jaw-dropping" and drops some teasers for British viewers.
"Series II promises more action, more humour and a greater sense that the technical innovations are a long way off," executive producer Rick Berman told Sky One. "Most of all, Jonathan Archer will become a more confident, more take-charge Captain as he leads Enterprise deeper into uncharted space."
For those without access to Sky One, Channel 4 has the terrestrial television rights to the latest Star Trek series. Although the first-season finale 'Shockwave' aired in December, Enterprise's second season will probably not be shown on Channel 4 until mid-2003.
