Paramount announced today production has resumed on Enterprise's second season, beginning with the episode 'Carbon Creek'.
According to the official Star Trek site, the cast and crew began filming 'Carbon Creek' this Wednesday, and started with two days of location shooting. On Friday the company returned to the Paramount lot to film scenes on the Enterprise interior sets.
Although normally one would expect 'Shockwave, Part Two' to be the first episode to be filmed, the official site reported several sets are still being built for that episode.
'Shockwave, Part Two' will of course still be the first new episode to air when Enterprise returns next fall. Paramount today also announced the show's second season will debut on the 18th of September, a week earlier than last year. Enterprise will retain its 8pm timeslot on UPN.
