First 'Nemesis' Teaser Poster Revealed

Advertising company Faction Creative today revealed the first official 'Star Trek: Nemesis' teaser poster.

The poster, shown here to the right, features the Reman leader Shinzon in full costume. The poster carries the tagline 'A Generation's Final Journey Begins,' and also includes the film's release date of the 13th of December.

Faction Creative is an advertising company involved in print and internet promotion work for major studios, including Paramount, 20th Century Fox and MGM. Faction was responsible for the final posters of all TNG features, several of which can be found in the company's online portfolio. The company also designed the official sites for both 'First Contact' and 'Insurrection,' but isn't involved with the official 'Nemesis' site.

The 'Nemesis' teaser poster will arrive in American theaters during the July 4 holiday weekend, together with the first 'Nemesis' trailer, which is expected to start playing in front of 'Men in Black 2' (story). In a few months, the teaser poster will be replaced with a final movie poster, which will include the film's credits and likely another image.
