Hello World!
Well, Amy is apparently moving house today, so you're stuck with me again. I'm not feeling particularly well, though, so I'll just make this short and get to bed - hopefully a couple of hours more sleep will help me avoid the minor virus that has been making the rounds here over the past few days.
I did manage to add a few more banners to the TrekToday ad rotation today, though, advertising things such as the 'Conversational Klingon' audiobook or the sequel to the 'Spock vs Q' debate. I do hope you'll find them interesting, and, again, please let us know if you have suggestions for any other products you would be interested in seeing advertised.

Trek Two Years Ago
Below are some of the most important headlines that appeared on TrekToday on Sunday the 4th of April, 1999:
- DS9 Finale Novelization More Likely - Exactly two years prior to the announcement of the Voyager finale novelisation, Pocket Books editor John Ordover said there would likely be a DS9 novelisation. "As of this writing, things are looking up for being able to publish the DS9 finale novelization (which was always a scheduling question, not a motivation question), but that's as much as I can say at the moment."
- TrekAuction.Com Launches - The first-ever Star Trek auction site was launched by the official William Shatner Connection. Things didn't seem to go too well for the auction site after that, however, as it is now part of GalacticAuction.com, itself containing no listings.
Happy Birthday!
Today is the 46th birthday of Casey Biggs, who played Damar on 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'.
Today's Television Listings
- At 9:00pm (8:00pm Central), UPN will be repeating the Voyager episode 'Body and Soul'. Here's how the network describes the episode:
When Seven protects The Doctor from Lokirrim captors by harboring his hologram in her body, The Doctor's delight in experiencing human sensations clashes with Seven's strict physical and mental disciplines - and is only exacerbated by romantic advances from the alien captain toward Seven and The Doctor's attraction toward a female alien with whom he works.
