Trek Actors to Reprise 'Stargate' Roles

Jolene Blalock (T'Pol) will return to Stargate SG-1 to reprise her role as Ishta in the show's eighth season.

Executive producer Joseph Mallozzi reported to Gateworld that the Star Trek: Enterprise actress will play the Jaffa warrior Ishta, as she did in the seventh season episode "Birthright."

"Birthright" was written by Christopher Judge, Teal'c on the series. The working title for Judge's new episode, "My Big Fat Jaffa Wedding", may be an indication that Blalock will appear in this installment as well, speculated the web site.

Gateworld recently reported that Star Trek: Voyager's Robert Picardo (The Doctor) would likely reprise his role next season as well.

"That old technobabble brain of mine is still functioning," Picardo told Sci Fi Wire in March about being on the series.

Picardo plays conflicted N.I.D. Agent Richard Woolsey on the series.

The eighth season of Stargate SG-1 begins in July on the Sci-Fi Channel.
