The picture to the right shows concept art for the Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Lt. Commander Data figures. This range will incorporate a hidden hip-joint system that enables the figures to sit down without showing the joins. Both characters are wearing the latest version of the Starfleet uniform, as introduced in 'Star Trek: First Contact.'

Art Asylum will be releasing the full range of Next Generation characters from 'Nemesis,' and although no store date has yet been set, the range is expected to coincide with the theatrical release of the film. Further preview images of the 'Nemesis' action figures will be made available in the coming weeks.

New images of the Enterprise NX-01 model have also been released, and can be found here and here. The twelve-inch model features authentic Enterprise sound effects, including the voices of the bridge crew, and light-up nacelles. The full range of Art Asylum's Enterprise merchandise, including figures of the crew, will be released in August.

Art Asylum plans to debut its 'Borg Assimilation' line in early 2003, and there may be also be a range of Original Series action figures released next year, although details are currently under wraps. A sneak peak at the concept art can be found here at the manufacturer's web site.

Larger versions of the 'Star Trek: Nemesis' images are available here and here. Thanks to Mr. J for this!
