UPN Releases 'The Aenar' Promo

UPN has premiered the trailer for Star Trek: Enterprise's "The Aenar", which airs next Friday night.

In this final installment of a three-part story, written by Andre Bormanis from a story by Manny Coto, Archer accompanies Shran to Andoria to meet the Aenar, a subspecies living in the polar ice, whom he believes to have a connection to the drone ship on which Reed and Tucker were trapped.

[A drone ship flips over as it travels through space and fires at Enterprise.]

[An explosion rocks Enterprise's bridge and appears to injure T'Pol.]

AND ENTERPRISE'S ONLY DEFENSE? FIGHT MIND WITH MIND.

[Archer and Shran look towards a viewscreen.]

[Enterprise fires weapons in space.]

[A being is shown in a virtual reality suit.]

[Text: 'FIGHT MIND WITH MIND']

[Phlox looks at T'Pol, in the medical bay, wearing a virtual reality helmet.]

[T'Pol holds a padd.]

T'Pol: "I'll test the unit."

[A virtual reality helmet is lowered over T'Pol's head.]

Phlox: "I can't allow it. You barely survived the last attack."

[Tucker approaches, looking concerned.]

Romulan: "Someone's tapping into the telemetric array!"

[The Aenar gapes as if in pain.]

[Phlox looks over at T'Pol.]

Phlox: "Synaptic trouble!"

Tucker: "Shut it down! Now!"

[In the chair, T'Pol shakes as does the ship around her.]

ALL NEW ENTERPRISE NEXT FRIDAY At 8, 7 CENTRAL

[Enterprise turns in space.]
