Shatner To Host Game Show

William Shatner will host a new game show for ABC, Show Me the Money.
The legendary Captain Kirk actor has signed for seven one-hour episodes of the new series, according to The Hollywood Reporter (via CNN). Contestants will answer trivia questions that could lead to a multi-million dollar prize, but subsequent questions may put their entire winnings at stake.
Shatner currently stars on ABC's Boston Legal, where he plays self-aggrandizing lawyer Denny Crane - a role for which he has won two Emmy Awards. The character often makes self-referential jokes; in one episode last season, he objected to being left out of a conversation because he had won an Emmy, and in another he made reference to Klingons.
Previously Shatner has appeared as himself on Iron Chef competitions, world poker matches and numerous television specials. He has also roasted himself, hosted award shows and participated in the Star Trek edition of The Weakest Link.
