Hello World!
Well, I certainly found the 'Favourite Sci-Fi Show' Poll very interesting. This being a Trek site, it was a foregone conclusion that Enterprise would win - but approximately 50% said it wasn't their favourite show. Maybe we should run the same poll at the end of season one and compare the results.
There was a bit of rivalry between the other shows to see who could make it into second place - there were Farscape and Stargate SG-1 movements in the TrekBBS sci-fi forum, and a big Andromeda push at Slipstream. Full results can be found below.

Trek Two Years Ago
These were some of the major news items on December 6, 1999:
- Stewart 'Christmas Carol' Interview
Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) talked about the differences between his one-man version of 'A Christmas Carol' and the TV film in which he played Ebeneezer Scrooge."I learned that it was a much more restful time playing Scrooge than playing everybody. The interaction with the other actors, instead of having them exist inside my head as they have for almost 10 years, was bound to change everything. I was everyday being forced to reassess everything that I had done before, which is exactly what I had hoped for."
- CNN Reviews 'Hidden Evil'
D. Ian Hopper at CNN Interactive posted a less than positive review of 'Insurrection: Hidden Evil.' "It's almost fitting that the game takes place after the 'Insurrection' movie, and uses the same world," he wrote. "That movie was criticized as seeming too much like just a two-hour TV episode. Unfortunately, you won't spend much more time with this game."
