Hello World!

Has anyone else ever had problems copying an ICQ contact list from one computer to the other? When my laptop was sent away for repair, I copied my ICQ contact list to computer I used while the laptop was away. Yesterday, when re-installing ICQ here, I copied the contact list database files to the ICQ directory, and when I launched the program, I did see my entire contact list, but for some reason the program now refused to connect to the ICQ servers. With a clean install it connected fine. Is this a familiar problem for anyone, and did you manage to solve it? If so, I'd love to hear from you - the last thing I want is losing 18 months of message history after I tried so hard to keep it.
