- According to GoneGold.com, the 'Voyager: Elite Force Expansion' has gone gold, and should be in stores by the end of this week. The expansion will feature new dialogue both by Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) and the rest of the cast (who already provided voice talent for the original game), as well as a new Virtual Voyager tour mode.
- If you want to know even more about the expansion, David Laprad at the Adrenaline Vault has written a preview of the product, calling it "the first perfect translation of another entertainment medium to a computer game."
- And as promised, Activision has released the new 'Voyager: Elite Force' 1.2 patch. Besides updating several of the game's gameplay components, it also includes a new Jeri Ryan voicepack, allowing you to play the original game with the voice of the origginal Seven.
- And VoyagerEliteForce.com now has the latest version of the software required to run a 'Voyager: Elite Force' dedicated Linux server.
- Interplay opened and then temporarily closed its official web site for the 'Starfleet Command - Orion Pirates' stand-alone expansion pack to Starfleet Command II. We take it as more proof that you shouldn't mess with the Orion Syndicate.
- The official web site of upcoming capital ship combat game 'Bridge Commander' has posted a new screenshot of the week.
- If one shot isn't enough, the Adrenaline Vault has posted six new screenshots of 'Bridge Commander.'
- The AVault has also posted nine new screenshots of 'Star Trek: Armada II,' scheduled for release this Winter.
- And there's a new 'Armada II' Q&A available at PlanetSTArmada. For the interview, developer Matthew Nordhaus talked about his own background as well a few game-related issues.
- The 3DGamesZone has no less than 30 screenshots from 'DS9: Dominion Wars.'
- That game is now getting close to release, as A Talent For War posted a note from Gizmo Games' president Gary Wagner saying that the game is now in full beta and soon to be sent out for full testing. In addition, he revealed they will have "several surprise guests doing voice-over work on the game."
- No time is being wasted sending out these beta copies to the press, as Chris McMullen at GamesDomain has already posted his hands-on preview of the game. He considered it "entertaining to play," even if it was based on Deep Space Nine, which he considered "pretty dull through and through."
- And finally, 'Star Trek: Away Team' has been reviewed on the Future Games Network (who gave it a B) and PlayNOW (who gave it an 8/10).
