Star Trek Interior Designer May Lose 'Ship'

Star Trek fan Tony Alleyne, who spent thousands of pounds converting his home in Britain into a replica of the Starship Voyager, is now broke after failing to find a market to convert the homes of other Trekkies in a similar fashion.
The Sun reported that Alleyne, 52, spent £12,000 on moulded walls, a command console and touch-panel lighting, then invested over £100,000 to market the concept. Last week he filed for bankruptcy.
Alleyne's web site, 24th Century Interior Design, shows images of prospective furniture, such as a futuristic built-in sofa and transporter padd table.
His own home in Hinckley can be seen in web shots here. It appears that Alleyne has a bedroom that looks like the brig, a kitchen with floor lighting like that in Starfleet ship corridors and a tactical panel on the bathroom door.
Unfortunately, Alleyne may have to sell the pad to cover his expenses.
