Paramount has announced the bonus features for the third season DVD release of Star Trek: Voyager, scheduled to arrive in stores on July 6th.

TV Shows on DVD has a listing of the details of the Region One set. Like previous releases, the set will include seven discs containing the 26 episodes of the season.

The series will be presented in 4x3 full screen, 5.1 Surround Sound, with closed captions. Running time will be approximately 19 hours, 46 minutes.

In a special "Flashback to 'Flashback'", guest star George Takei (Sulu) and Voyager regular Tim Russ (Tuvok) discuss how scenes from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country were integrated and redesigned in "Flashback", which saw Tuvok remembering his time serving under Captain Sulu.

In the third DVD segment of "Braving the Unknown", producers Rick Berman, Michael Piller, Jeri Taylor and Brannon Braga discuss highlights of the season, including season premiere "Basics, Part Two," two-part time-travel episode "Future's End", and season finale "Scorpion, Part One".

The two Voyager Time Capsule segments for this boxed set focus on Neelix and Kes, the two Delta Quadrant aliens. New interviews with Ethan Phillips and Jennifer Lien as well as other series regulars, plus a look at what the performers have done since the series ended, round out discussions of the characters' roles on the show.

Visual effects producer Dan Curry and science consultant Andre Bormanis also return to discuss the filming of effects sequences in such episodes as "Future's End" and "Distant Origin" - the episode with dinosaurs - and the science behind the space phenomena such as the wormhole in "False Profits", a story which included Ferengi who had come from the Alpha Quadrant.

The original listing may be found at TV Shows on DVD.
