Hello World!
If you will recall my inaugural Hello World!, I mentioned that I have had no problems with electrical appliances.
It appears I spoke too soon. For on Saturday afternoon, the power supply for my usually wonderful cable modem gave out, with a few sparks and an awful melting smell, rendering me without net access for the weekend, and hence my disappearance from the site for a few days.
On another note, while I was browsing the Space site for the Canadian TV listings (which didn't turn up becuase of a site error there), I checked out their 'Voyager' section. Naturally.
Anyway, right at the bottom of their cast list, they have 'Eric Ritter as Yivel.' Now, I have been a faithful Voyager viewer for seven years now, and don't recall this character making an appearance, let alone one prominent enough to be featured on a cast list alongside Captain Janeway. If you know the origin of this mysterious usurper, please write to me at caillan@trektoday.com.

- Captain Janeway Action Figure
New Force Comics and Collectibles released a stunning 'Flashback' Captain Janeway Action Figure. The Captain is fetchingly decked out in the delightful maroon ensemble from the TOS movies. - Relativity Effects
The Supernova 99 convention revealed some spoilers for the Voyager episode 'Relativity,' including a description of the shot of the ship docked at Utopia Planitia. There was to be a shot of the Captain's Yacht, but this was dropped because the effects company didn't want to diminish the thunder of the scene featuring the Enterprise-E's yacht in 'Star Trek: Insurrection.' - Another Synopsis of DS9 Finale
At this time, full synopses of 'What You Leave Behind' were multiplying faster than tribbles. Sci-Fi World posted their breakdown of the series finale, in addition ot those already posted at Trek Web and The Great Link.
